Damp diagnosis : the steps
CDA 06 allows you to benefit from the expertise of professionals in the treatment of damp, whose starting point is the diagnosis moisture.

Diagnosis moisture is composed with several phases.

CDA 06 moves freely within 48 hours on the premises to be treated (see conditions) and verifies :




  • STEP 1 : ENVIRONMENT

    CDA 06 makes a survey of the influence of environment on the building, climate, exposure, and notes any outside damage.


  • STEP 2 : STRUCTURE

    Detailed study of the building structure, foundation, materials...


  • STEP 3 : STATEMENT OF DAMAGES, MEASURES

    Findings damages and measurements using a mobile laboratory with powerful tools :

    Evaluation of the moisture content of materials used in walls,

    Detection of concentrations of inorganic salts (nitrates, sulfates)

    Measuring the electrical charge contained in walls,

    Record of temperatures and humidity (amount of water in gaseous form in the air moist).

    Temperature measurement of materials using an infrared thermometer.


  • STEP 4 : DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT

    • A full report will be provided, including statements of specific and detailed measures and the recommendation of treatment.
